OK.. so as you may have seen in the uk thread... Planning a Bit meet in UK and Hollandish... Idea is as many Nederlanders and Belgies can attend as want to... and we'll all have a drink and have some fun... Location: Anywhere central to Nederlands and Belgium.. so maybe somewhere on the border almost... like Tilburg... yeh.. it's a bit of a bitch to get to from both sides.. but it's more central for both countries... if people prefere to split it and maybe do a meet in somewhere more central like Utrecht and somewhere in Belgium then that's groovy but I don't think there'll be as much turnout as if there was a combined one. Date: Well I'm gonna be in Nederlands 23rd June-28th June.. so any time in there would be good for a meet I guess... For me anyway.. If it's not possible to do it then I'll gladly hand over to someone permanantly over there.. Usual things apply; no under 16s.. no coffee shop venue ideas if under 18.. So basically show intrest and ability to attend here... if it looks possitive then we can start arranging things more.... RULES: No bitching about location. I'm gonna be pretty open on location.. so long as it's central... everyone should have ID cards or passports with them anyway due to wonderful new regulations so border crossing shouldn't be a problem for anyone. On your marks.... Get set.... GO!

well it'd be nice to do a dutch speaking meet being there's a few of you on the forum... so... if there's more dutchys than you lot it'll be in holland... otherwise... it'll be somewhere in belgium...

Over here! Belgians own 1.7% of this forum tbh (well, I did at one point in time...). The day lorquis mentions is kinda not that great for me, I have exams until the 27th, and might not be conscious the 28th, but I can always force something. Why not come to Knokke-Heist, it's on the border, and I live here, so I don't have to go anywhere! We can go to the beach or stuff...
How about everyone considering this posts their location and some indication of availability? ..we can pick a nice and reachable city based on that. I'm not even sure if I'll have time at all this summer, but if I do, most of it will be somewhere in july. Coming from Groningen.. waaay up north :\
I'll be staying in gouda... but mainly spending time in woerden... Hopefully there'll be enough intrest in this if not then it was worth a try... (plus if it doesn't happen you won't have to suffer my oh so very bad dutch.)
