Hello there, new to posting here, but not new to the actual site! been looking and searching the forums for a little while now!!! and drooling over some of the galleries on here!

I was wondering about the GeForce 7900 GTX series of cards and whether they have been sorted out now... as i have read they have had some issues... like image spiking and such like and packing up within three days!!!! I have heard that some of these problems have only occured ont he pre-ovreclocked cards, but havent been able to search long and hard enough to get the down and dirty info on them!!!

ps, if you check out my post in the 'extreme kooling' section, post your views on the overclockability of the system!!!

    thanks

Well it's like any hardware tbh. If it dies it usually dies "soon" or it'll run on indefinately.

We've had 8-10 come through the lab with about 400 hours of stress testing on each, we have 3 now we use day in day out and we've only had one die within a day or two. They are literally "the card" we use over all the others cause a) it's quiet and b) fast-as-feck.

We have a pair of BFG Tech 7900 GTX OCs (670/1640) and a Leadtek 7900 GTX Extreme (675/1660) that are used nearly every day of the week as Bindi has said. We had one BFG Tech 7900 GTX die after about 2 months of use, but the other cards have been with us since March and still running perfectly fine.
