(bit old but...) Snes and nes

Hi there all, yesterday me and my friend where cleaning an addic, where we found a snes, I recived it, had to do a small repair to the controller (wich works perfect now).
i am pretty new to classic nintendos,
what i wonder....
Do nes cartridges work on snes?

yes if you have that adaptor thing. OR am i thinking it was only a gamboy adaptor to play game boy games on snes.

 

You're thinking of the Super GameBoy man. NES games don't work in a SNES and vice versa.

 

I recently put my snes in my room (few days ago) I have Super Mario Allstars, super mario world, plok, super ghosts and gouls, starwing =], donky kong country. Hoping to get zelda for the SNES and mario paint.

 

Still trying to get a Snes from Rathbone place CEX in London...Everytime they get one in it almost goes the same day.. :/

lol I still have my SNES and all 30+ games from when I was a wee lad. Still works great.


I thinkI might play some Super Mario RPG tonight when I get home from work, that sounds like fun. een years since I've played the original
