See if autocad can natively import *.skp im not sure if it can. For slow viewport rednering in sketchup change the drawing style ! ( no "fat" line accelerates it a whole lot )
thanks VNZL, i have similar problems when i export to 3ds max, SU tends to export every face individualy so it gets very laggy, so to fix that i just select all vertexs and weld them, it usualy removes around 75% of useless vertexs and it makes to models way more usable. maybe its the same problem with autocad
Quick question, does anyone have a texture map for cable sleeving? I can't find a good picture to start from and I'm no good with photoshop. I am using a carbon fiber texture and it looks ok but Id really like a good sleeve texture. Thanks! @Dark I love that motherboard. The detail you put in is amazing! Now if only you worked in SolidWorks instead of sketchup....
Sorry my bad, still awesome though Edit: @emir_ Any chance you would be willing to share the models? They look great!
No but this is sketchup... Thought i would have a go at an H55n giga ITX... Decided to take an hour to throw in some more detail for a change...
That is very, very crisp. One crit would be that the metals are too reflective to be realistic under most curmstances... there's bound to be someone out there ocd enough to polish all the metal on their board but it ain't me
Jesus Croni... That's GREAT! The chip the chip the frigg'n chip. SU huh... You is a Hudini (not the app) what are you into now Ray2, Modo, FinalRender?**** did you get this from GEZ? I'm looking for alignment flaws!A Sketchup you say? Point is ...I'm Looking hard Great job you Bast@rd
@Cronic I'm going back to quilting. Can't compete. renders better than Any of my Project log photos. john
Looks good! Where do you guys get your HDRi files from, mine always look like crap? There's a clipping mistake in the first pic though, the compass isn't bending the paper.
Cheers, Its just a jpeg. Program i use turns them into hdri's. Thea and octane does the same... Bit lazy on the placing. Not bad for two hours work...
cronic your work is insane! I dream of having modelling skill like you one day do you mind sharing some of your ground textures, especially the one used with your mobo render? cheers
