Back at 'cha.... lol. Keep up the good work my friend. interesting choice of floor material. I'm wondering how long it takes your renders to complete. When ever I messed with Maxwell it took forever to complete, only to find my materials and lighting sucked bad hehehe. :p

That was my major concern with maxwell aswell, but since they have release " Maxwell Fire " its not a concern anymore !
i let this pic render for about 15 minutes @ q6600 @ 3,2Ghz they seem to have improved a lot on the production render times aswell.

Ah ha! lol your doing some nice things there man. I like your DOF. For me at least, I find I constantly have to go back and forth with settings, and having a SLOoow machine it sux to find I need to adjust more and re-render...tick...tick..tickkkkk, TOCK, oh hell it sux lol! I've been reading up a bit on sss mainly for how some use it as charactor "Skin". Don't be shy with some details on your settings. Helps people with ADD & CRS like LN here haha! wow 1 + 1/2 hr for render in vray, 2.0?. and.... Wow nice reflections dude. "?" just light boxes or some HDRI? :D... you mention PS post, what format are you are you saving your render in, .targa or other to separate and make adjustments in PS. Tia ever curious here..... LN:rock:

Slowly working on this, a highly detailed ABIT A-S78H mobo for my rig... probably 6 hours at least on it so far. Renders to come, this is a screeney from Sketchup :)

    Without the motherboard texture:

Probably because VRay is like £600. KT is free and it does the job perfectly fine in most cases. I would love to have VRay though, but not for that amount of money.

Well... Ok I used the 30-day VRay trial first. When it was over I re-installed it and for some reason it didn't pick up that it has already been installed. Probably cleared the registry too.

Some quick renders of the latest Proeject in the making - case un-lit and lit. See http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=193905 for more tech details. Suggestions for improvement to case desing aesthetics and also the render. (used KT, PM - Medium AA 1. Tried using Fog/volumetric lighting for another render pass but was taking forever [50% @ 6hrs] at 800x600).
