Get the Bad Obsession guys to give it a go... ...sure it'll take them 4 years and you'll end up with a McLaren running on 2 mx-5 engines bolted together, but it'll work better than Honda's effort...
...who would have thought that the same process that works for 200bhp 4-pots doesn't work for an 800bhp 10000+ rpm V6 Turbo with a hybrid system. Who could have thunk that there might be different vibrations in those, that mess with the correlation? Short answer: That straw guy from "The Wizard of Oz"
This is the man who drove around Bahrain with his DRS stuck open and still managed to defend his position... If I opened DRS even a millisecond too early playing the games, I ended up upsidedown in a barrier.
No penalty for squeezing another driver (that you know is there because you just compromised your line to defend in the previous corner) against a concrete wall? Go home stewards, you're drunk.
Well that was an ok race. I'm beginning to believe that someone at Renault has it in for Verstappen and Palmer. Oh no, they might go faster than their team mates.... #clunk#... problem solved. Please no, they're the most entertaining double act on telly right now
Does Perez think he can summon Maldonado if he crashes often enough or was he just on drugs? Those Alonso radio messages though, Honda really needs to sort their **** out.
Nando loses it on radio. Verstappen's car lets go. FIndias hit each other. Fairly sure I've seen this one before...
Did Alonso actually have a failure, or did he just get fed up? Perez is definitely channeling his inner Maldonado - which is very interesting: as a rookie he was noted for harrying and upsetting his more established team mates, but now it seems he can't handle being on the receiving end from Ocon.
Not much they can do about it though, they need to keep Perez for the money from Mexico and Ocon is under the protection of their engine supplier.
Apparently no issue was found with Alonso's engine after he retired. Apart from the fact that a sit on lawnmower would be faster on the straights. I would ask if they've checked all the cylinders and validated against each other rather than previous failed units.
