Predict Sirotkin will out-perform Stroll, mainly as i think Sir Frank in his chair could go faster than Stroll.

Given what happened to Mclaren once Ron ASSUMED DIRECT CONTROL he can not unreasonably take credit as the one who mostly held things together while Ron and Mansour had their little power battles.

After all Mclaren haven't so much as a podium since he was pushed.

I am reading Marc Priestly's "The Mechanic" right now, and his accounts of Ron Dennis lead me to think exactly this...

Whitmarsh was unfairly treated by McLaren (or Dennis, at least) and, as with Ross Brawn after his treatment at Merc, it's nice to see him back in the sport.

My mates dad used to be quite high up at BAR, said Whitmarsh was one of the snarkiest, up-himself, cut-throat personalities in the paddock. I obviously never met him personally, but I never gelled to him like I did Brawn, Frank, Boullier etc.

All hyperbole, of course. Marc Priestly makes Whitmarsh seem like a nice guy (much nicer than Ron, at least).
That all said - hard to beat Frank Williams, I reckon

Tbh I always thought being an overly-demanding bell-end went hand-in-hand with winning in F1. Would not be surprised to think they're all awful in RL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    This...
A twittish "anything to win" comes with the sport. They're all divas in some ways.

Bit silly to do that at Brazil since it will put the second half of the race bang into the rainy hours, unless that's the plan.

There's a ho-har on Twitter at the moment about getting rid of 'grid girls' in F1. Seems lots of insecure men take exception to getting rid of wallflowers.

i think its more to do with policy changing because of snowflakes throwing themselves beneath the wheels of an imaginary oppression so they can find meaning to their shitty corporeal existence in the eyes of strangers on social media.

should have just told them to **** off tbh

Disagree. Watching the Williams flick on Netflix and seeing how frequently "what's it like being a girl in F1" questions to Claire Williams highlight it needs to change. It's no longer the 70's. Having walls of women clap the three winners as they make their way to the podium is embarrassing to watch.
If you want to be the worlds most technologically advanced sport watched by 400+ million you can't be outdated elsewhere. You lead, you lead. Otherwise you admit you're an entertainment not a sport.
