Seen the photos, looks like hes going to be hit an miss being in quali tomorrow chassis is obviously ruined from the crash, looks like a number of drivers are not liking the resurfacing coming into turn one. I rode it a little while back and even on a push bike its quite noticeable.
Anyone reporting that the issue is anything other than Grosjean, his driving, ability, and/or skill is simply not operating within the realm of this reality.
How are the drivers being impacted by the DRS zone through the corners (forget which ones) which Vettel complained about?
Aaaaaaaaaand Verstappen puts it in the wall.... EDIT: Just need Stroll to bin it in FP3 and we'll have a full house.
FP bingo..... 1. Grosjean to bin it 2. Verstappen to bin it 3. Verstappen to act like moody teen when asked about binning it 4. McLaren to break down 5. Williams to release a statement saying improvements are coming but they are struggling to understand the issue 6. A Renault/FI to impede someone else 7. Stroll to bin it or run wide and damage something 8. A statement from Red Bull saying they are seeing improvement in Hartley
Who had 'Hartley bins it' on their sweepstake? Though tbf His suspension turning to wet spaghetti isn't really his fault.
I now expect the press conference where the question of is his seat safe followed buy the team has seen improvement then something about Verstappen thrown in
That's the trifecta. Also thanks a f'ing bunch for extending the quali to overlap the football. Stupid marrionette needs his strings sorting.
I don't see a need to extend the points places. The mid field is tight enough and sees good racing vying for 10th, I think it would see more people hold station for a point or 2 than try and fight for a place or play with strategy.
I guess it will stop Alonso retiring halfway through a grand Prix when outside a point position. It will also give cars damaged by Vettel in the first corner a boost in the championship for recovery drives. Other than that it feels like everyones a winner mentality.
Basically the Motorcycle racing points system. Yet more fannying about in the margins to avoid facing up to the real problems of cost and aerodynamics. Meanwhile the FIM and Dorna are steadily forcing through spec electronics into Moto GP, are rumoured to be drawing spec aero regs too and Moto GP's last four seasons have been some of the best ever, even Mr Marquez does keep spoiling it for everyone at the end.
