They're Ferrari, they're used to getting their way by stomping their feet and throwing their weight around rather than actually negotiating. Of course Jean Todt and Ross Brawn aren't intimidated in the slightest.
They know what to expect, having been instigators of yore... "Really... that s*** didn't work when we tried it 15+ yrs ago; what makes you think it will now...?"
Oh wow. Go on McLaren! Renault looking a bit silly now, their mega upgrade getting trounced by the customer team.
Worth remembering that McRenault actually have a bigger annual budget than Renault do thanks to their backing from the Bahraini Royal Family.
Also danni got a 5 second penalty so he's now classified 11 moving norris to 9. Justified I'd say if not for his coming back onto the track then for overtaking kimi off the track.
The race was pretty boring. Renault looks _better_ than it was at the beginning of the scenson, but so do all cars. That said, Dani tried his moves, and accepted that he may get a penalty for it. McLaren did well. Ferrari did (by their own admittance) not close the gap to Merc, so I am expecting this season to effectively end pretty soon.
Well I knew my Fantasy F1 score would be good but seems I got the no.1 team this race (helped by predicting Grosean would be the first retirement), up to 22nd overall. Nat Driver Team Value Score C. Sainz McLaren 7.82m 123 D. Kvyat Toro Rosso 6.28m 69 K. Raikkonen Alfa Romeo Racing 7.92m 132 L. Hamilton Mercedes 20.08m 303 L. Norris McLaren 6.66m 107 Budget Remaining 0.25m Bonus Points 20 TEAM VALUE 49.01m 754
They still had staff? The way they are going they might as well just give their drivers some duct tape and a several years old car that Maldonado has "driven".
Well, Leclerc stunning lap, Vettel even without his problem wasn't getting near that time. What do we reckon, will Hamilton get a penalty?
Anyone else would get a penalty, yes. But because it is Hamilton, he will get just a reprimand, to keep the fight for title alive (sorry, couldn't resist doing a sarcastic remark).
Well, Hamilton got a three place penalty https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/1...stigation-for-kimi-raikkonen-qualifying-block
