https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/48928467 Norris isnt going anywhere. Cant see McLaren letting him go easily after what i think ( armchair opinion ofc ) has been bloody brilliant from the outset. Im positive he will be around a long long time in F1 and do very well indeed. Gasley has been a big disappointment in that car , it certainly has more in it that he extracts from it. Id like to see George Russell in a better car , I know hes British but i think he has the potential to do very well.
Many many rumours floating around about RICH as a company, looks like the vultures are circling there.
People with big mouths and no money by the sound of it. No doubt Gunter will voice a very differnet opinion on the ending of the Rich Energy deal in the coming days. It will be more interesting to see what's happening with the Whyte case, Rich were ordered to make their accounts available to the court for inspection, that's a bit of an escalation from a simple copyright dispute.
Thieves and launderers. Finally saw a can of carabao in a shop the other day for the first time, after they've been sponsoring the football league cup for 2 years! Doubt I'll ever see a can of rich energy. Unless I catch some of Richard Bransons piss when he's on one of his speed benders.
Seems Rich Energy are quite happy to continue using their now banned logo on thier website and social media. Along with the F1 tie in. Are we seeing a trump style event where the CEO has direct access to their twitter account so spams out nonsense while everyone else at the company scrambles to keep up?
Sadly, I think this means the end of Haas. Rich was the "loudest" sponsor about becoming part of the sport, and now this. Inb4 Haas says "we never got paid for those 9 races"
Apparently Rich Energy's twitter page was hacked. Not sure I buy that but HAAS are now saying they ended the contract as they had yet to be paid, which seems more likely. Now I'm more confused https://www.racefans.net/2019/07/11/haas-insists-rich-energy-is-still-its-title-sponsor/
I've likely miss reported it, so report away *edit* Also... https://www.autosport.com/f1/news/144709/rich-energy-investors-trying-to-salvage-haas-deal Main bit from Autosport if you cant see it
https://www.racefans.net/2019/07/11...and-condemns-rogue-actions-of-one-individual/ Reading between the lines, Mr Beardy Storey went a bit mad did variopus tweets an now they are in the process of removing him. He's on one for sure Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
I wonder if they know that Whyte bikes was started by John Whyte, former senior engineer for March then Benetton, builder of the suspension for all of Schumacher's Benetton cars. They have a pretty strong connection to motor racing even if Mr Whyte himself sold his stake in 2006.
https://www.racefans.net/2019/07/11...cks-own-companys-haas-statement-as-ludicrous/ So Beardy says "screw you" to the stakeholders... Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Maybe he's just trying to be as "cool kid" as Elon Musk on twitter?
I saw something on twitter where they pointed that out, an he put some nonsense up about how it was in the past. I think hes about to go the Musk way an get binned off by the shareholders. Appears they have begun steps but surely they should be blocking him from the company social media accounts even if they were not looking to remove him just to stop the moron spamming nonsense and damaging the brand image what of it there is.
