Albon was getting his Verstappen on by the looks of it, some pretty brave overtakes.

It's all that time cooped up in LMP1 cars, those things are like a tumble dryer on the hot setting.

    Also, tbh I think I prefer McNish's punditry/commentary to Coulthard's.

My take on those two is that McNish has more of a mechanic/driver balance to his knowledge & Coulthard is/was more of a driver.

Toto saying that they wouldn't have made the strategy stik vs Vettel without the safety car - I can see where he's coming from, but clearly, Bottas is a great blocker on that trac, as evidenced in his performance against Leclerc. That Ferrari was super quick in Russia, but Bottas showed that his willingness to do the team a solid clearly contributed to his contract renewal.

Depends whether Ferrari turn up for the weekend and whether Honda have brought another Austria Special engine.

I was going on 162pts CWC difference; a race result of Merc. 43 - 27 Ferrari would make a 178pt difference w/ only 172 left to play for...

Yep, if Mercedes get a 1 -2 in Japan it is officially over in the constructors even if the Mercs didn't bother to turn up at the other four races.

Maybe its like when Tesco filled the tanks mainly with silicone, except they have doped the other teams fuels so the Lambda sensors all mis read putting the engines into fault modes.

Kinda expected that the way the rugby was looking. I also expect Bianchi to be weighing on the mind of the decision makers

Well, I wouldn't want to go playing rugby or driving fast with 2 FEET of rain expected with 160mph winds DURING a high tide!
