Interesting that it's 'postponed' rather than just 'cancelled'... 'postponed' implies they'll try and shoehorn it back in to the calendar later in the year...

I watched the McLaren MCL35 launch from the restaurant in MTC, the place was pretty buzzing as the boulevard was rammed with guests. I'm starting to get excited for the up coming season. Can't bloody wait!
Maybe if the top 3 crash or break down. But they're still likely to be 'best of the rest'. Also, does anyone else think Ferrari's 'extreme' design will and up being a lemon.
I think the Ferrari will be a red rocket again, but Ferrari will find a way to bugger it up, like they did 2017, 2018 and 2019. Anyone notice the McRenault has a cape this year? That's certainly an interesting aero feature and I'd love to know if it's for cooling, air re-direction or if it's covering up something clever.
I don't doubt the team will screw up any advantages they may have, but isn't Ferrari going ott with their design or with glory laps in testing usually a sign the car is a bit of a dud?
From memory I think its to do with helping air onto the barge boards. I think we can safely say all the real cars we have seen so far will begin to look different during testing, bar the bolt on aero tools obviously.
Sorry I should clarify, it's a cape at the back. Where most of the cars have very tightly packaged bodywork at the back the top of the sidepods on the Mclaren stays wide at the top and partly covers the upper rear suspension arms, whilst the underneath has the normal coke bottle shape. One of the suspension arms seems to run at an angle through the tunnel that creates, my best guess is they're trying to use that area as a giant vortex generator to create a sort of second diffuser. Or it's a cosmetic cover to hide what their actual aero will be in that area.
Oooh, sorry I assumed the front, I think your right some kind of giant vortex generator, I had a look at some other photos, there is a clear gap between the underside of that cape and the back of the car so does look like a very cleaver way of channeling air into the diffuser as it should be quite a clean flow of air going round the sidepod, the cape should help keep the upper and lower airflows separated thus maximising the effect of the diffuser The new Alfa Romeo/Sauber dropped. First off, that nose... New merc has appeared, looks really to be an evolution of last seasons, still has the same style nose, chopped in side pods like others, nothing leaps out at me in terms of newness, it is insanely tightly packaged around the sidepods though, see if their supposed gains from running FE pay off
Watching the Alpha Tauri launch live, then suddenly in the middle of it they decided to do a fashion show, went from 4.9k upvotes and 400~ downvotes to 5.1k upvotes and 5.7k downvotes in less than 3 mins everyone tunes in for a car, not to see dumbass fashion brands
Well AT is a fashion brand so... not that surprising... Clearly the new team can't afford colours... Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
it was just funny to see the dislikes to mental during the ''fashion'' show some of the models were in Hi-vis green / yellow... so be thankful we didnt get THAT all over the car
Just noticed on the Alfa, the airbox, very different, three inlets as opposed to Ferrari and HAAS with a single inlet Oh the Alpha Tauri is a really deep matte blue an white isn't it?
Willaims turned up... Looks very 97 arrows to me with the paint job, "simple" car but hopefully see some bits appear on it.
Anyone else notice that the Wilhelm has a beer gut with the BEER actual written in the middle of the bulge? Deliberate? Coincidence?
