That new on board camera is so annoying, does liberty media think they are filming a fighter jet scene for a movie?
It'd be alright if they used a real gimble mount, but whatever they've lashed up lags so hard it's comical. It's either an applied effect or they had to damp it way down.
It seems certain Newey is going to Aston Martin now as Ferrari simply weren't willing to give him the amount of freedom and control he demanded. I wonder if Lawrence Stroll will hire Logan Sargent as a test driver, drop Alonso for 2026 and make Sargent his son's teammate for 2026 as this could be the perfect solution to make his son F1 World Champion provided the car is suitably dominant. All a bit mad but not totally implausible, what are your thoughts?
Not seen/read anything contradicting the articles from may saying he was definitely ****ing off... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/articles/cv2rd53gnr6o Only if he is committed to never winning anything ever.

Stroll has one maybe two good races a season. I reckon Alonso has been phoning it in at points and is still comfortably out performing Stroll. With the convergence seen this season keeping other teams close and recent Newey cars seemingly leaning towards an extreme driving style to extract the most from the concept he is chasing, I doubt that Stroll would be capable of much of a title fight. He would probably make Perez seem world class
Lawson replaces Danny Ricc for the rest of season. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/formula1/articles/c5y076prkero
Rumours of Verstappen walking away and/or Perez always on the edge of loosing his seat it's been suggested that it's not completely impossible Riccardo and Lawson could be in the Red Bulls next year. If true it feels more like Silly season had a lobotomy and is now lying in a puddle of it's own pee
I think Tsunoda is an experiment with how far they can string someone along before they break. It seems clear they are never gonna promote him to the main team and will keep him as a useful body in that Torro Rosso seat I assume Honda hold his ultimate fate so don't want to rely on him incase he's plucked away to Aston Martin. While fast, he's potentially another Kyvatt class weapon in the Red Bull seat. Plus could you deal with two drivers swearing at their engineers every other lap?
