man this would be cool, i love writing and being an engineering student at the moment requires total dedication and conciencious working practice to perform well....and even then the deadlines are so tight that we can be found in the dept beavering away on our projects/work way into the night/morning. not afraid of hard work thats for sure.

shame im already on a placement at the moment, and then i have 2 more years of university to complete, haha. but if your recruiting in 2009 ill be sure to apply

Does failing miserably to impress Riyad enough to give me a job discount me from applying for this? :D

Out of interest, how many CVs have you received already? I'd love to work for bit as well but I don't think I quite have the journalism skills. I can write technical documents but they probably wouldn't appeal to a great many of bit's readers. :p

I'd love to take this job but the fact that I'm only 18, living in the North East and have a lack of money means I very much doubt I'd be able to make the neccessary move down south!

Sorry guys, any "work from home" kind of placements available other than the freely submitted content I've done already? :)

    Cheers.

My dream job! gettin paid to stay abreast of tech and games and travel!!! O my, to go to CES :) thats hardon material right there man

Would be so much better to actually make da reviews then spend hours reading em n dreamin bout gettin to play wit da tech :p even better gettin to warn others of the shoddy products that are out there

Do i have to like shoddy vulgar case mods and awful fatality stuff like that creative mouse to apply?

cause the current machine i'm designing in my head is a shuttle xpc, nice n clean with flame spray job like the watercooled one at CES :p

I'm guessing some basic spelling and grammar skills might be required.

Don't think that, the total lack of grammar and spelling from your first post was more then sufficient ;)

I'd love to play with all those lovely new toys before anyone else, but I don't think I'd enjoy the benchmarking tests (i always skip that part of the article straight to the conclusions)

I would apply, but I've just applied for a job at Intel doing graphic driver design. Well, I sent the email off because their website isn't working!

There's no harm in applying DougEdey. I've applied to loads of jobs and had several interviews in the same week. I wouldn't bother waiting from a reply from intel before applying elsewhere. If they do get back to you just say sorry I've got a better job elsewhere.

But I don't really want to work in this country. And I still have a year of Uni left :p.

Intel would sway me from finishing the degree over here, but BiT wouldn't

Is there a range of pay, depending on experience?
