Indeed. I'd just be cautious about inviting some people. Something about knife fighting because they believe their opinion is more important.

When I can't execute standing splits any more, then you'll need to wheel me. For now, I carry a staff.

Later this year construction will begin on my wife and I's dream home, and when we complete it, we're going to renew our vows there (we're building a real hobbit house, though scaled up-I'm 6' 6" and she's 6'.) When we do it, we'll schedule it with some lead time so anyone that wants to come can. I'm not sure what we'll do about swords for everyone, though. We have a recurring Orc problem.

This sounds fun, too bad I can't really pay for such a flight.

Also, a staff? You sir, are awesome! :D

Swords? Git 'em with the chair! Failing that; Bread Knives are highly effective!

Also; Kayin is taller than me. That's a nice thought. I get tired of looming over literally everyone else.

A meet would be quite good actually. I host an annual meet for another forum that I'm a member of (sound reinforcement related). It's an amplifier shootout, where everyone brings the most meaty amp they possess. I build a stack of subs and we measure the volume each amp can produce with a decibel meter. It's good when you have 10Kw of power @ 35Hz.

Anyway, we have a BBQ and some bevvies. Needless to say the whole affair is always a success and the atmosphere is very relaxed.

For those around the midlands....The Swan Inn, Stone 7th-15th July, beer festival, 80 ales and 20 ciders from Wales...................just sayin' ;) (not that I've booked the week off work purely to go drinking for a week or anything)

I need to see some of your soundsystems. Thats a fact! I used to live with speaker builders, and we ran a 10k rig wasn't half as nice as some of yours though.

I'd like to try and meet up with some of you UK folks when I'm eventually attending track days and generally larking about during bank holiday weekends on the mainland :D

Especially coolamasta, who I would love to go to such an event with in the future :)
