Viewers in the USA are in for a treat for tomorrow. Tech TV, the technology channel, have as their special guest our very own Chris 'Eddie the Dane' Newman. One of the very best modders around and proud member of team bit-tech, Chris will be displaying his latest creation, Project "CineMediaPC" - a very stylish and modern HTPC. This project has never been seen before and is one which anyone would want in their living room. Of course, we aren't going to say too much right now, so you will have to wait for the show to see it for yourself - and then read the full project details here on bit-tech.net.

The show airs on Wednesday the 12th May at 4pm PST/7pm EST and is repeated at 12AM, 8AM, and 12PM Thursdaythe 13th. Give yourselves a treat and tune in.

I will make sure to do this. It won't be the prettiest job, since it will have to be a VCR transfer (getting my PC to connect to the digital cable box downstairs involves having to move a Sony Trinitron TV, which are HEAVY).

Alright, took a bit longer than expected, because when I recorded the file onto my computer, it was using the close to SVCD settings I normally use, so the file was 110+ MB for a 7 min file. Right now I'm re-encoding to VCD, which will clock in at about 70MB. I'll also have a 35MB WMV available for the broadband-challenged (don't expect any smaller). Due to my slow-ass upload speed on my cable connection, the VCD won't be up until about 5:40 PST. Hopefully the WMV will be up 30 min later.

    VCD MPEG MD5: 46e4bd61538cdb6c017af60f10ac2f29
    Lo-Qual WMV MD5: b987d56c5d6e1401e487515ac10c785d

ok i recorded the whole show. the file is over 1 gig so i will be reencoding it to make it smaller. it will be availible as both the whole ep or just the segment.
