Ha yeah, true, it got born and split off from a serious thread to keep that thread on track.

I think this one will whimper away in time.

Yeah people were being shits to each other so it was either hand out a ton of bans or move them to a new thread and I had vodka and coke to drink so the quicker of the two solutions was used.

You made the right call. Allowing people to vent is better than banning them wholesale. I'm just talking as a everyday lurker and not poster. I see the logic, and the need, but it is still disheartening to see people you respect butchering each other over nothing. I get it. Keep on if it helps. But its a bad look..just so you know.

Yeah it's not a thread that shows our photogenic side off.

It was a family bit of bickering as I see it, unusual times not helping. If the venting helps/helped some people then I'll take it as a price worth paying.

People deal with things in different ways. I find it funny that since being a kid I have had to deal with a lot of changes to the world, and "just get on with it" yet now I'm torn to bits for dealing with things my way.

Every one has different ways of venting. Mine is to laugh, given it has been proven to be therapeutic.

I can't read 'and coke' and think of the brown fizzy stuff.

Dunno why, but I find that a bit worrying... but I get that some may make that association more readily than others.

In other news, I have what appears to be a bobcat in my yard. A full ass bobcat. Quarantine here just got a lot more interesting.

    Pics in my albums.

Well, if you had a rodent problem, it's dealt with ! Handsome looking cat, how big do you reckon it was (in relation to a house cat) ?

Oh no, he'll be infected by the sex toy cooties?

It's a wobbly silicone (one would hope, stay away from anything containing pthalates people!) rod, it is an inherently funny object to play with. Give it a bright colour and remove any remaining nods to anthropomorphism, and it's just an enlarged chew-toy.
