These things are epic sexy, i'd LOVE to have one here. It's wouldn't sit on the wall either, a tool like this deserves some usage! Going to sponsor one of these each month Bill? :)

Start harvesting filaments from old light bulbs. Cast them into an ignot, add carbon to make carbide and mill away. That would be epic!

Hmmm, sounds a little too involving guys....lol. I can look into Stainless Steel, but afraid it will be very spendy

Yes, it's already an option for the MOTM Winner :thumb:

or you can order our "10 Year Anniversary" version directly from me with Paypal.

Here is the ruler we sent Boddaker for winning MOTM with his TRON PC!

Yeah, an appreciation for good crafting and the sentiment of a reward tailored and engraved for the competition! :p

It's just a chunk of metal, right?

And I mean, who the hell would want these useless discs of metal? I'd keep the lanyards though. Can never have enough lanyards.

    :p

Actually, Bill has been making these out of Aluminum for a while with no posted complaints that I know of, and aluminum is more susceptible to thermal expansion than copper.
So Copper is a better choice, and if you look at the numbers at the website below they are in Micro inches (10-6) per degree F, not that much of a change over normal household temperatures.

My vote is for the Copper Coolness !!

My 10th Anniversary edition arrived today, unfortunately not autographed but it does in fact have "MNPC TECH 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY" etched right into it (presumably where the MoTM Winner would go) and it is freaking Awesome.

Nice work Bill, and thanks for the rapid fire delivery

Brass is even worse than copper, cost-wise. They would be neat, though...
Bill, you would have to change the font for brass to a script style too.

Ooh... If you do a brass one with a nice classic font (Castellar? Edwardian Script?) I'll definitely be ordering one! :D

I would seriously consider purchasing one in a Steampunk style. It would help provide a little inspiration for a couple of projects I have in the lineup.
