So, out of curiosity, how much do you get per hour? I am with bitcoinpool at the moment but not sure if I have linked my wallet id correctly, is it just the receive funds address that you use as a wallet id or have I missed something? Also what is a namecoin wallet, all I have is the gpu miner running and a qt wallet which has done nothing apart from validate blocks.

How long did it take you to mine that much though (and im also curious to a rough estimate on how much £££ that cost you in electricity).

Im still slightly confused on how you store them in your wallet/send them, but by the end of last night my head was bitcoin battered and i had a slight case of GPU tinnitis

    http://www.bitcoinx.com/profit/
Just put your numbers in there, you'll see how much you'll earn each day etc.

    just worked it out....

    after all costs...

    £88 per month

thats even with a GTX480 and 680 which will be stopped when a add another AMD card so that will go up because of the reduced electric cost

the 480 and 680 are producing only 278mh/s between them

where as the 6870 is 302mh/s and using about a 1/3 of the electric

so if i add a 6870 and stop the 480 and 680 the profit goes to...

    £109

Mine suggests 0.0295 btc per 24hs, is there any way of increasing this with my sig rig, and does an a10 5800k do much in the way of mhash?

I dont have enough info to fill all that form in. bitminter was saying i was making roughly 0.07 - 0.076 Bitcoins per 24 hours (fluctuating), i just put that into a currency converter to give myself a rough idea

    How comes?

Kronos you can obviously overclock your card, and try the APU, no harm in it.

shame we dont have a bit-tech mining pool, would be pretty cool to see everyone who you know (from here) all mining for a common good :) I've a separate server so i could host one if anyone was interested in joining/making one?

I'm using those figures and the estimates I'm getting are waay lower (£60 per month)

Using the site I linked earlier and this one: https://bitclockers.com/calc

    Edit:
Misread your post, so you're saying if you add a 2nd 6870...
    What kinda power consumption?

Edited my post, I was just doing it for one 6870 :)

    Both sites get similar results.

    Using 600hash and 300W now - 180usd roughly

So what is the best card for bitcoin mining a 7990 or 7970 cf? Did you guys see the article recently that said bit coins are not a 'bubble waiting to burst', I don't pay my electricity so this could work out for me :D

I've found a few open source solutions for making a pool server. most dont seem to have a front-end (on purpose), as it encourages each team to develop their own front end.
