Do you mean bolts? Or Japanned screws? what size are you looking for? You can get a variety from ebay cheaply.

Find what you want on ebay size wise etc (you don't need a account to look) , pm me the links and sizes/quantities and if you want I'll order them from ebay and have them sent to you and we can sort the money out after.

Mark the link you sent was for M3 bolts with washes and nuts. Fine but what pack size do you want, what length bolts and what type of nut? I'm ignoring the fact that particular link is for stainless steel. If you answer the above questions I'll find some black ones and send you the link to check them over.

Could you give me the links to the Japanned black hex screws please. Apart from MDPC-X (who now only stock limited sizes) I haven't been able to find any.

I've been using black nylon nuts as I haven't been able to find any Jappaned nuts anywhere.

Bolts, washers and nuts here, assuming you don't want nyloc nuts. Worth getting an eBay account for little things like that.

I'm sorting them for Kov, Krikkit.

Big Elf, shiny black nuts for you (if you'll pardon the phrasing :hehe:):

    M3 locking nuts, M5s, M6's metal not nylon ;)

Some are available on ebay a bit cheaper but some don't seem to be

Could i suggest you go to a fasteners merchant rather than that shop? You can get them a lot cheaper.

As a side note, "black oxide" is the finish your looking for. Nearly all black fasteners are finished this way. If your in the States McMaster sells nearly any fastener you could think of, though they are not always the most competitively priced

Big Elf is in Westcliff on Sea - UK, hence the more difficult process of obtaining them here without ridiculous shipping costs from the USA

Black oxide is the standard 'industrial' finish and is variable in quality from poor to average. I prefer the japanned or oil finish for visible screws. I'm planning on trying out a suggestion of Carrie's which is to use black nail polish.
