Thats pretty cool. I actually do that stuff a lot on various graphic novels (although I need a new scanner... :waah: ). Mmmm... The pictures in the original thread are down, oh well here are the pictures:
    Beginning
    Finish
    Beginning
    Finish (#1, or 3 technically)
    Finish (#2, or 4 technically)

You used a nice style. The colouring holds true to the scene while strengthening the boldness of the line shading. Good work :thumb: .

All of the work I have seen in this thread is excellent. :thumb:

I'm going to have a go at some today but fear I may struggle as my knowledge of Photoshop is limited so any hints and tips would be most welcome ;)

Keep up the good work guys!

Photoshop tutorials are a good start. I do everything free hand now (wacom tablets rock). I might have a go at the second picture you posted. It looks kind of interesting...

Photoshop 7 just adds a tool that you don't need for this. I'm not sure about Photoshop CS yet, I haven't upgraded ;) .

The tutorials provided with Photoshop are a good start. PlanetPhotoshop has some good stuff as well.

    Hope that helps.
