So for the past few days I've scoured the internet for some black case screws. Looking to completely outfit an atcs 840, but I can't seem to find one website that sells common size computer case screws in black. Found some fan screws, but no #6 6/32 or anything else. If someone knows of a store that sells them I would greatly appreciate a link to it. Thanks
You could also try this: http://www.timohapponen.net/mustaus/ Sorry but the page is only in Finnish. Anyway, he shows how to do parkerizing and regular blueing to dye steel parts.
Thanks guys! I was about to have to buy some old black screws on eBay from an old Dell someone had posted onward with the all black/maybe red lit atcs 840!! (wish 95% of all lighted computer stuff wasn't blue!).
Well the easiest way would be to screw the screw into something with a washer, then spray the top black... You don't need the whole thing to be black..just an illusion ya know?
Industrial suppliers should carry black oxide finished screws. They likely won't be decorative-grade, but they should look better than a painted screw.
