Hi All, I'm not sure how familiar you are with www.blackdog-pcs.com? It would be interesting to hear from others who have traded with them. On the 05/09/06 I plaved an order with them for around €52. All items were listed as 'In-Stock'. So I expected prompt delivery within around three days as thats the standard delivery time within Europe. They state that upon receipt of payment, and dispatch of goods that 'An invoice will be sent'. Well payment took place within 5 minutes of placing the order, I recieved a PAYPAL confirmation but am still waiting on dispatch confirmation despite repeated attempts to contact the customer support department. Well after three emails to each of their email addresses I still do not know where my parcel is. The site seems very professional and nobody can doubt their product range as they have a huge selection of ACRyan products. Customer service however seems to be at the bottom of the list. I could have ordered from FrozenCPU and it would all be here by now Anyone else had a similar experience?
Blackdog-pcs.com had been my sponsor for a couple of months, so I've heard more of these situations around the net. I can assure you that they do deliver so It's surely no scam. Only problem is that it's indeed very hard to get any information from them. Also heard that they're just not replying to mails without any known reason, bit wierd. Also I found this out when trying to get some sponsored stuff from them once again. Only thing that works is mailing them another 100 mails... they've got to react at least once...
i ordered some plexi and other casemodding stuff (for about 50 euro's) And the whole process took about 2 1/2 weeks.
Ow, right and another thing: about all AC-Ryan supply's are hard to get these days. AC-Ryan is / was "re-inventing" some of their supply's and took some stuff out of production. Most the plexiglas is still being made, but the main supplierr of AC-Ryan, NYGL.com (for at least in Europe, also supplier for Blackdog-pcs) wasn't hardly getting any stuff of AC-Ryan out of China thanks to the "re-inventing." This was a couple of months ago, for as far I know the situation should have been stablelized.
same thing here!!! i placed an order on 20th of august, bought loads of AC RYAN stuff for my project and havent heard of them ever since. i waited for 3 weeks, sent them 5 emails and now i opened the dispute in paypal and waited for 2 more weeks without any respond from them. i gave up and let the paypal make the decision of who is right and who is wrong... we will see how it ends...
update: i got an email from paypal today followed by email from blackdog saying that i was refunded and blackdog saying that they shipped the package but it was returned shortly afterwards by the postal service for unknown reasons... very weird...
Hi! I placed an order on Jul 1, 2006 and payd 35 € via paypal. They told me they shipped on Jul 7, 2006 . I never received the packet. I sent them several email asking the traking, they told, that it was a regular shippingn without traking so they haven't it ( thare was no chance to choose between different way of shipping at the moment of the order......). So I asked to ship the packet again, becouse prolly it was lost form the post....and they told that they should have shipped it again.... Afther 1 month I asked again but no more answer to my email, so I sent to them a refund request via PAYPAL, but no way to get refund. I sent also several email to AC-RYAN to complain about theyrs european partener, but no answer.... If anybody knows blackdog stuff, please help me to contact them... Thanks
I just rechecked this thread and I'm shocked to see how many people in this forum have had problems. I opened a dispute with Paypal, and sent two messages to the seller via paypal over a two week period. Of course there was no response, so I have escaleted this to a claim directly with paypal. I hope to get a refund but there is no guarantee I . Maybe with enough complaints Paypal can remove them as sellers, or atleast we can hope so. It's shocking and appears that Blackdog PC's take your money and run. I will be warning as many people as possible and will direct them to this thread.
maybe is a big forum like this can send a complain directly to AC-RYAN we can catch teyrs attention...
A bit of an overgeneralisation don't you think? There are enough people who in stead did receive their supply's Another thing: at the moment, the one and only suplier of ACRyan supplies in the Benelux (also supplying Blackdog-pcs.com), NYGL.com is about to be become broke. Their are hardly suplying anything anymore, and as far as I know ACRyan is trying to find another suplier of ACRyan supplies for the Benelux (or maybe whole of Europe.) This is going on for a while already, so your problem might have something to do with it. However, Blackdog-pc.com was supposed to inform you about it then.
Yes pehaps it is too much to say they do that with all customers, but the more I look around the net the more trouble I see with Black-dog pc's. If there was no stock or a potential delay in supply then I should have been informed. I contacted them 7 times in total via email and telephone with no luck. That type of behavior is entirley unacceptable. I have posted the same subject on a number of other sites and there appear to be far too many people with a similar experience. On another note I got a full refund via paypal...gotta love there 100% Guarantee.
