Modding Bloo optical mouse!

    have a cheapo optical mouse and the left button bounces a lot - so I opened it up to check it and though should I try modding it blue?

    Have tried before without much success. Anyway I did and the result is below..

    2mins a blue led (3000mcd 3.6V) - some minor soldering and voila..

    tried it on the onyx worktop - some cats all work well and will just take my mousemat to try..

    Here's my blue modded optical mouse. I used an 8000 MCD blue LED connected straight to 5V to prevent it from dimming.

    or you could pick up an HP travel mouse
    its a blue optical. only like $20
    got one with my laptop and i love it, been using it so much i went back to a regular mouse and it feels huge by compairison

    Now thats better cos of the translucent sides :)

    Well maybe too small for my dainty hands :)

    Anyway the funs in the moddin isn't it - sacrilige to suggest a standard HP one here :)
