    Thanks you.
Well as I won't need to make any arrangements with anyone for that I will probably get that match squared away this evening. Hopefully I don't pick up any further injuries and can have the team back to full strength for my first real match.

I heard the Halflings only schedule matches around mealtimes.

    Isn't that Spade's bag?

EDIT: Although you do have those giant crocs, in fairness!

Well, I've just finished my match.
I do not like those treemen. Two of the buggers. The little guys go down easy though.
First half I was kicking so, set about doing as much damage as possible to the short ones. Had three in the injury box and even managed to KO one of the treemen. Had the ball, one square away from touchdown. Turn 8. Thought lets get everyone around the second tree and give him a smack. Missed with a click and ended up trying to dodge with a saurus. It went predictably. Saurus do not dodge.
Second half went for a quicker touchdown and scored turn 11 after some terrible dice rolling giving me an early turnover. More bad dice followed. The wee ones were two squares from equalising when they failed a dodge. "Luckily", butterfingers the skink went to pick up the dropped ball. Twice. Turn 16 a teammate showed how it was done and made a run for it. But, it was too late for a second.
Ended 1-0 in favour of the scaly beasts with two injuries for the filthy hobbitses.

    :hehe: Love it!

Sounds like you had a similar run of luck/bad decisions as I normally do. Hopefully this lot will be the new whipping boys!

Yep, first half was good until I failed my bonehead roll. Second half bad rolls.
As long as you steer clear of the trees you will have a good time.

Can we push our game back 30mins to 8pm? I have made a logistical balls up and am required to feed and organise family members. Sorry Squid!

Of course, bud. I understand both the requirements of having dependent squigglings requiring a thrashing/feeding and also the fact that you might be having pre-match nerves and just using that as an excuse .

It's okay, the 'Spikes do have that effect. They've even left brushing their teeth since last season in order to intimidate in the line-up; training has been eye-watering, to say the least, but I'm thinking your undead must also be rather fruity and thus immune. Is it true there aren't even any showers in your locker room?

Well it's over, 2-0 to the Hotspikes, The Ungroomables still yet to put a single point on the board.

The match can best be summed up by it's opening turn, when Micah the Howler managed to get himself knocked out on a free move and would remain sprawled unconcious until the 16th turn. Great game Micah. At one point The Ungroomables had 6 players unconcious, or re-assembling themselves post re-death.

At the end of this league, I'm rolling a new team, these guys are fired.

@HeroSimon came out victorious on the score board after some interesting dice, and my inabilty to identify the ball carrier vs another player, resulting in a certain touchdown ending up in the ball carrier running back towards my own half.

Good Game and I hope the injuries arent too severe. @ModSquid I think I did you a solid for your next game....

Ha! I hope so - the rats are over-confident following their tussle with the necrotic pack but could do with calming down and playing the game they know. Or a better version, actually - that would be more ideal.

Watched that last match live on Cabal - was rather entertaining. Some brave moves on @HeroSimon 's part and some dice rolls for both teams where Nuffle clearly had an interfering finger in the mix. I thought the Boys were going to steamroller the waify newcomers, but things have been shaken up now! Not least by the iron hoofs of the bull centaurs, but also the dancing shoes of the dark elf runners...

Last match of the round scheduled for tomorrow. @Midlight - do you need to validate your game? You're not showing on the leaderboard for some reason.
