Gunsmith: Your rant reminds me of a situation we saw reach a crest in New York a decade ago, specifically, in Bensonhurst: crowds of working class Italians and blacks despising one another without ever reflecting that someone else was responsible for placing them in the gladiator ring. Don't lose sight of the real villain in your life: companies that outsource. I love my four Romanian writer friends (two of whom are quick to remind you that theirs is probably the closest modern language to Latin). I love the Romanian philosopher, E. M. Cioran. But I hate the use to which your company is putting Romanian workers. I hate companies that outsource jobs which are the life support system of local economies, and I hate your bosses for putting you in the humiliating situation of having to educate and train the people who are effectively usurping you. It's the equivalent of being forced to give lessons in how to please your wife to the man for whom she left you. Humiliation aside, I'm glad you actually have a job. I feel the same way, roughly: Forced to do editorial work that's perhaps beneath me and train people who aren't always respectful, yet grateful I'm not in the position of so many of my peers: on unemployment and losing their apartments, with homelessness looming at the limit of their vision.
mate i would stick at it, smile diligently and do what any english man would do in situations of imprisonment. Disrupt, annoy and misdirect. The cancer of outsourcing is purely an accountancy flop which will bite the company in the arse pretty soon.
tbh atm im just kicking my feet up and letting the days roll. besides im looking forward to the money helping me build my house of win.
