OK not to sure what to call this really it is afterall a blow hole. So here it is, I cut a nice 120mm blowhole in the top of my case yesturday, it went well, sorry no pics me web cam is crap! What I was thinking of next was to cut a 92mm or 80mm blowhole in the bottom of case, i've seen it done before an thought it was agood idea but... What I was thinking of was getting some form of ducting to extract the air from the hole in the bottom of the case to the sides of the case, does anyone know the sort of stuff I'm talking about, or am I going to have to make some sort of cardboard constuction or get it moulded? Its just an idea if there are any articles or any pics people have then please give us a link. cheers
i know what you mean. ONe problem is that if your case sits on carpet loads of dust gets sucked in to the case.
It does sit on the carpet but, its going to blow out wards and thats why I was thinking of the ducting type things to blow the air outwards.
um you are right. A friends said that to me earlier, but it would help remove some heat wounldn't it? Maybe a should I should make it suck air in then? Do you think it would work? Or would it just suck up too must dust?
a filter would help reduce the dust but depending on how high your case is off the ground you may get very little air commin into the case
You know what is really sweet...I have an air conditioning vent right next to my computer and if I wanted to, I could cut a fan hole in the bottom so it sucks up all of the cold air into my computer. Then I also have a 92mm blow hole in the top of my case.
