for trimming my window, i stripped the plastic off an old joystick and super glued it around the edge of my window. probelm is that i spraypainted the whole thing black, and i think the paint was corrosive or somthing so now the edging is all gooey. Thinking of peeling it off; does anyone know where to buy some other kind of pre packaged edging? i think they are called lock strips maybe? 2nd question - im going to put a blowhole in the top of my case, so i went about drilling the rivets out, so now there is holes through all of them, but the top panel wont budge. do you need to saw them off from the back or somthing? thanks
question 1) look for door moulding at your local auto-parts store. Comes in black, silver, black on silver, and silver on black. question 2) what case do you have?
there could be a couple of screws at the front, behind the front bezel. i dont own this case though so they might not
http://www.theoverclockingstore.co.uk has window moulding that might be what you're after - it's just over £3 per foot, I believe. Look in the case accessories section http://www.coolcasemods.com also has window moulding, and some chrome edging that will also work for windows (U profile, not H though) - look in the Bits and Pieces section. wow, rivets holding on the top. I knew there was another reason I couldn't stand those cases. 3 pound per foot of moulding is insane IMO. If you just need a black or chrome, just go down to autozone and get 6ft for $5
