Modding Blowhole.

    If I use a regular, black fan in a blowhole in the front of the computer, and mount LEDs behind the fan, will they show at all? How about if I just have a CCFL illumiating the case?
    Or is it better that I go the slightly more expensive way, using a clear fan?
    Do I have to have a funnel when I mount the fan in the bezel?

    just test it out.. power op a black fan and try to look trough it... most of the fans i have seen becomes semi-transparent.. if you look at the fan from straingt forward, if you see small gaps between the blades it will most likely light trough it... got that? or... ? :idea:

    I'll do some testing... I also wonder how thick the plexi for a window mod has to be. 3mm ok? Can I use even thinner? (It's cheaper then :p )
