Got my T68i with a data cable linked up to COM2. After loadin PCControl, I click on Connect - and nothing happens. Any ideas? :S
yup... teh metal one... and yup someone bit it.... asswipe... even better than that! another mate saw me flicking the phone out (i'd learnt a technique ) and asked if he could have a go, and couldn't flick it properly... so he gave it one last go and gave a mega flick and the phone split and tore the ribbon cable.! But I got it fixed, and they replaced the bitten bit... poor steve, I didn't have the heart to tell him he'd broken my phone! the 8910i looks nice, but I don't know why they don't offer it in the normal titanium cover like mine, I've seen a black one and it looks poo... it looks like cheap plastic... oh and not to mention nokia LCD screens are poo... if I were to get colour I'd only opt for a TFT jobblie
where can i get an el cheapo bluetooth phone for orange pay as you go, £100 is what i wanna spend really no more much less
There's not many cheap bluetooth phones around at the minute. You can pick up a T68i or 6310 on ebay for around £130ish, but that's about as cheap as they come for now. Damn, if only I was rich enough to blow £550 on a P800
I've ordered one into my store (for promotional use......really) it should come in saturday. I'll see if i can 'borrow' it for the night and do a review
Ok, I have the exact same setup - a T68i and a WaveLinker USB dongle. I got version 2 of XTNDConnect Blue Manager, and the connection seems to work - I just can't figure out how to make this PC Control thing hook up with the phone... When I click on connect, nothing happens... Help?
I have this dongle and the t68i, I've got most of the software working (not tried pc control), but something in MobileAgent is bugging me... how do I send an SMS using it? When I compose one and 'send it' it just stays in the archive folder? Also can't make the S-E outlook sync software work, any ideas? Cheers, Rob.
I'm going to get into this bluetooth stuff. It's pretty new to me but i have a bluetooth dongle off my bluetooth MS intellimouse. Can i have another connection additional to my mouse? I know i have to secure the conection to the mouse by clicking a padlock but that's all. I bought it because of the nice feel, performance and look of the mouse really.
Apparently you can have upto 7 connections at the same time with bluetooth, but have not tried it personally. The connect program has been giving me problems now too. It seems to have a mind of its own.
Yep, you can have up to 8 devices with Bluetooth - but it gets tricky after 2 (Well, it does with my PC anyway...)
hey boys and girls i found an el cheapo bluetooth phone, its a phillips 825 http://www.ringnow.com/Specs/Philips_Fisio_825.html anyone have one of these, can i unlock it to use on my Orange PAYG connection (i don't wanna change to Virgin really). also what amazing things can i do with my PC and my phone, controlling my winamp playlist is cool. but what really nifty stuff can i do. anyone have one of these
That software is specifically for the T68i and im sure won't work with that phone! If you want the nifty stuff get a T68i... simple as that.
