In slovenia they are very expensive. about 1€, a little more. for how much money do you guys buy your blue LEDs?
If thats 1 Euro (about 0.75 GBP) then ours can be over double that and more. But for comparison, a 5mm blue is about 15 times the price of a 5mm red.
over here i can get 5 mm blue LEDs 3.5 V ones for rm2.50 and 3 mm blue LEDs for RM2.00 for conversion sakes USD 1 = RM3.80 so its pretty cheap here but i guess the quality is not up to standard..
Thats abou 62p a good price - what are the specs.. I make baybuses - so buy a few LEds and sell some to people that want them.. Here in teh Uk they retail from a pound..
With all these different currencies floating about perhaps we should standardise on buying power. Some paper worked out that the price of a MacDonalds hamburger was a good international guide - so how many leds for the price of a hamburger in Slovenia?
I'd probably get 4 bl00 leds for the price of a big mac meal, and one and a half for a straight hamburger. i think. Although the leds look much better
