purple leds arnt very good, they ussaly look like blue LED's.

white LEDs only look good looking straight at them.

orange and yellow are just too standard.

I've got a bl00 LED as my power LED and a white one as my HDD activity in my coolermaster, I like blue but I like the variation that the white LED gives, and cos the LED's are behind a piece of plastic on the CM they're diffused nicely.

I like the bl00 reflecting into the finger indent of your floppy bezel. Looks really nice.... sweet man!!

Does anyone in the world still have beige pc's with dim green and red led's?

Painting a LL beige and fitting ****ty leds would now be considered 'original' Oh, no windows either, who wants to look at boring old 'puter parts...

Maybe you could mod your eyeballs so that they can see light frequencies invisible to the average human eye?

I guess those UV lights would **** you off though huh? And how about the annoyace of visible infra-red remote control beams?

Nah, we have plently of colours in our spectrum of vision, we just need more variation when it comes to LEDs!

Yep I have two, older AMD k6-2 systems. They have no window either. The only mod I've done is replace the Red and Green LED's for two Bigger ones that were also red and green...

    Are they original, Now? hehe

i was waiting for a delivery of leds. it took maplin 5 days to send me a letter telling me there is a problem with my card, and then dont even tell me the reason.

of course beige and red and green leds are original. they havnt been changed. guffawww

nice work, I've changed all my leds to blue except for my Pioneer 106S (slot drive). btw I have the same mouse, you have to love when things come with blue so you dont have to change them.

I've used diffused led's before, and im sure others have too, cause im not very original. I put 4 red 3000mcd led's in a project box inside my brothers puter to light it subtly, and id give ya a pic but red nd digi cams just dont get along.

Painting/spraying it black would be a good combo with the blue LEDs....

Then ghost/stealth the drives or paint them black. Try contrasting a couple of colors in the paint (you know blue drives black case or blue case black drives maybe some yellow or red.) who knows. :cooldude:
