    "Goodday lazy,

I just finished reading your article on the keyboard mod. Well written in my opinion. I appreciate your honesty about how the whole thing fell apart. :)

I was curious about the blue tack though. I'd like to get some. Is it available at any electronics store? If I ask for ask for blue ack will they know what I'm referring to? Any info is appreciated.

    Cheers,
    -Calsceron"

got this email today and was wondering what is American for Bluetack?

Blue Tack = sticky blue rubbery stuff, used to hold up posters (not the forum kind!), flyers etc!;)

i use it undernetith the feet on my hifi components a bit more padding to stop as much vibration as possible is a good thing :D

stupid as it dounds if you do get a lot of vibration on the the body of your players, cd, md vinyl (if only it wasent so expensive, catn beat vinyl but a pig to get right) a pack of blu tak on the bottom of the components feet, then ballanced off does improve the sound quality a fair bit

/scince geek spiel off (as most of you will be thankfull for )

    Off Topic:
A few squash balls cut in half are excellent for that too. They act just like what Arcam released (exactly the same dome things, more expensive).

no one belives this would make a differnence until i show them by moving the cd & dvd players off the top of the rikity table they have them on (or maby the top of the tv) & then i put them on a solid table with a bit of blu tack under the feet & they think i spent a small fortune on new cables (i cant say anytihg im using what came with my hifi, ihad to sell my nice flash cables & i cant afford to replace them, ah well its still isenable & thats what matters) but i does matter if you have to stare @ a beigh monstrosity on your desk after selling you modded case (hey i have lots of expenses i needed to pay, damn you amazon.co.uk  :D)
