Hi, I've got a powerbook and a bluetooth phone (T610). And I just played with this program 'Salling Clicker' on a friends powerbook. Its really amazing. You can use your phone for just about anything. Just a short list of possibility's: Mouse Control Presentation tool (keynote and powerpoint) iTunes control VLC, quicktime, DVD player, .... control Caller ID on your powerbook automatically mute your sound and/or pause when u receive a call. ... The caller id requires you to sync your adressbook to your mac first. Then when somebody calls it comes up on your screen who is calling. Perfect for in classes! Now Thats all very good. But I'm looking for a piece of software wich will allow me to send/receive text messages (sms) over bluetooth. (even more perfect for in classes). It should be share or freeware, so I could at least test it before having to purchase it. L
sounds well cool, i like the way that it displays the caller id on the screen of your powerbook aswell. it would be cool if you could make calls from your powerbook as well if you where wearing a bluetooth headset with your phone in your pocket.
i recently got a BT dongle for my Pc so my question is that is there anything like this MAC software for the PC????
Thanks ! I didn't knew it was already built into the adressbook. Thanks very much. I'll have to test if it will receive sms message's aswell. L
