    Does anyone know what the M numbers are for nuts and bolts?

    I'm actually after 3mm nuts and bolts, but all I can find are nuts and bolts with M nubers (M3, M4 etc)

    Not sure if this is the hole size or the closeness of the thread, or the length of the bolt.

    You need M3 then. Not entirely sure what all that means but....

    The outer edge of the threaded component +0.1mm *ish* =M number

    Hope that helps.

    M3 = 3mm, M4 = 4mm etc.. That refers to the thread there is also a length.

    M3 x 25 = 3mm bolt 25mm long.
