    Theres a special type of glue made for the gray pvc pipe that they sell in home depot, however i dont think it it clear/dries clear, which makes it easier for plumbers to see.

    If you really want some weld-on check ebay, there are some ~decent~ prices occasionally.

    No, that's a clear jelly-ish PVC adhesive. The primer for that adhesive is purple.

    If anyone needs a UK source for acrylic solvent adhesives a more accessible alternative to IPS Weld-On is a product called PlasBond 65.
