Simple question - I've scoured the forums and google, but I'm having trouble finding a UK supplier for Bondo. Either I'm not looking hard enough, or it is a US only product...

Anyone know anywhere in the UK that sells Bondo Body Filler? Or at least a similar product to fill in plastic/metal parts on a mod. Online, or high-street retailer?

    Many thanks!

It isn't called bondo over here and you can by it from helfrauds or any automotive repair shop.
    Its called P38 body filler.

    No problem.
The only reason i know what its called is because i had it out to fill a hole in my car after debadging.

I've got something called 'Ready Mixed Filler' from B+Q for £3 (you get 750g). I've used it to fill some tear ups on the plastic front of my chieftec and it's quite good stuff, nice and smooth once sanded!

Thanks for the heads up! I've got a B&Q about a mile away, so will look for it sometime this week. I just want something to fill in the grooves on a current mod of mine.

Wish I had written the name down. I spent 15 minutes staring at the filler section in B&Q, but couldn't see anything suitable. Will head over sometime this week and look again...

Don't use filler its plaster based.
Go for the body filler from helfrauds or any car body shop (hickney valton)

if i were you i would use P40 as a base, then use loctite body filler (also available from halfords) to smooth it off for painting :)

The body filler from Halfords should do the job. We used to use that to finish off our car audio installs :)

Thanks for all the recommendations to Halfords - I'll check them out before the weekend!

Picked up a twin pack (P38 and P40) for just under a 'tenner. So far so good - works really well!
