This is the Wi-Fi edition. Everything was running smooth, but now
when i go to turn on my new machine, all the drive lights blink, fans on
etc, but I get no screen or beep, and no boot it just sits.

Hitting the reset button gets it to boot normal. It doesn't do it
every time but it is frequent. I tried disabling quick boot, checked boot
drive order in bios to no avail. Someone had told me it might be video card related or USB related as I have 4 external drives and a few other devices hooked up, but like I said it will boot up fine for 2 or 3 days in a row and then the glitch appears.

    I am running a 6600 Intel Conroe 2.4, with a Nvidia 8600 GT
card, 2 gigs of Corsair DDR3 NVRAM, Win Xp Pro Sp 2 600W ps

    thanks,
    RW

issue is a common PSU issue. (the other 2 common causes are board and chip)

what PSU do you have, and its full spec...?

check your memory is seated properly.

re-seat your CPU just in case.

    Try a different PSU.

    Fixed

Turns out after setting my memory timings in bios manually to the factory settings, and switching power supply to a new one (680 w) the problem is finally fixed!!!
