This is the Wi-Fi edition. Everything was running smooth, but now when i go to turn on my new machine, all the drive lights blink, fans on etc, but I get no screen or beep, and no boot it just sits. Hitting the reset button gets it to boot normal. It doesn't do it every time but it is frequent. I tried disabling quick boot, checked boot drive order in bios to no avail. Someone had told me it might be video card related or USB related as I have 4 external drives and a few other devices hooked up, but like I said it will boot up fine for 2 or 3 days in a row and then the glitch appears. I am running a 6600 Intel Conroe 2.4, with a Nvidia 8600 GT card, 2 gigs of Corsair DDR3 NVRAM, Win Xp Pro Sp 2 600W ps thanks, RW
issue is a common PSU issue. (the other 2 common causes are board and chip) what PSU do you have, and its full spec...?
Fixed Turns out after setting my memory timings in bios manually to the factory settings, and switching power supply to a new one (680 w) the problem is finally fixed!!!
