I just finished the Rescue Roland mission... killing that Constructor was a royal PITA

 

I hated that mission. The Badass Elemental Skags just owned me.

 

A weapon with corrupt damage and repeated crits to the face and it's down pretty quick, just make sure you take out the repair drones that fly above it, otherwise you'll have to kill his shield 50 times.

 

I am at the point where 5-8 shots with my sniper rifle and a Constructor is down. Just wait till you face The Bunker. Now that is a royal PITA!

 

The Bunker is really rather heavily armed. Defeated it while lagging to heck, so my rocket launcher of ridiculous ammo wasn't as much of a help as usual.

Cream of the crop of my current assortment of guns is these two;

Rocket launcher of ridiculous Ammo. I've squeezed 17 rounds out of those 6 rockets before.


And my Sniper Rifle of automatic Chaos. That thing might as well be a slow-firing assault rifle for the speed at which it'll churn out death.


I've also got a random Corrosive bandit assault rifle, and a Tediore SMG that does a fair bit of damage too, but that Rocket Launcher is really the best thing I've got. It might only to half the damage of most of the launchers i've found since, but it'll do that without consuming ammo approx. 33% of the time, so I consider it a good trade-off.

 

Hmm, I've yet to even fire a rocket launcher to be honest. I mostly just crit things in the face with a sniper and have done with it. Bad ass rank 2000+ at level 20..

My turret has been my saviour for so many of the fights in this. Constructors, the bunker, Goliaths, anything really. Hurl it at them and let it mow everything down whilst I slag enemies to make it do even more damage

 

That turret really is crazy. Enough points into one skilltree will get it a shield, and the ability to stick to walls and ceilings. Then you can place two of them for entertainment.

I'm just enjoying playing Zer0 down the rightmost Skilltree, simply because of that 3M Lunge of doom I have to work with. Many a Badass has fallen afoul of that.

 

Some fights are easier with a rocket launcher than a normal wep, you fight a mini boss in the 2nd to last zone you vist he has about 180k hp level 30. Has no real weakspot that i ever found, 5 shots of the 28k explosive rocket ( hit for around 40k ) and he was a dead robot.

 

They aren't expired, I just redeemed 2 of them they were valid from 7-9pm

I used it just after 7 and it worked for myself and 3 or 4 others?

 

Loving the cursed SMG, it's actually quite useful.
