Haven't had problems with the Gunzerker (though I have died on several occasions). But the further you progress the more you realize the game is pushing you towards some form of co-op, particularly North of 20.

I'm not sure if I like how they removed weapon masteries, makes co-op more difficult since all loot is viable for every player.

No more fall damage is also kinda lame.

Otherwise though, it looks great. I'm thinking about getting the season pass

All weapons can be used by every class. Loot in Co Op isn't shared. Except money and the Class Mode being specific.

I think Eridium isn't shared either I picked up quite a few when playing with Deadbolt yesterday and he didnt get a share.

Also I don't think mission loot is shared either. What I mean is if one person hands in the completed mission the other doesntbget the loot just a share in the money and exp.

Eridium should be shared I've been playing co-op and we've always got the same be it from quests, chests, kills etc.

All mission loot is shared also (or should be) its just that the person who doesn't turn it in won't get notified but it will be in their inventory.

Loving this game have a co-op only siren that's at about Level 21-22 and a solo Zero build that is currently level 11.

My only gripe is that I can't quite seem to get my build as I want it for the siren but it should get there once I hit 30-35.

I guess if your inventory is full then you won't receive the item.

Oh and the Roland rescue mission. I got to the last bit and needed ammo for a weapon. I ran back to Ammo Dump and bow have an extended mission.

I've seen my inventory go over capacity for mission rewards but the key thing is that you don't both get exactly the same named item for a mission reward. I completed one mission yesterday where I got a corrosive assault rifle and my co-op partner got an incendiary assault rifle both with similar stats but with completely different names.

Although there a big differences in the frame rates for nVidia/AMD cards, the game actually plays fine when locked at 30fps. I suspect the animations are optimised for that frame-rate anyway for the consoles.

On my AMD card PhysX slows things down when there is a lot going on, but the particle effects that it adds aren't that great anyway. Without PhysX I can play at 30fps constantly with everything else on the highest settings.

So, I would say that although there are large differences, when it comes down to it, it doesn't actually matter too much - unless of course you like the PhysX effects.

    I love it so far. My five favourite things, mostly spoiler free;

    5. The driving system. It's much more dynamic now. Xahl doesn't climb into a runner without immediately boosting away with the handbrake on, which results in lots of noisy sideways action. Awesome.

    4. The voice acting. It's just hilarious. I'm glad Gearbox have realised that the few "serious" characters in the first game really didn't fit in. Having them deliver perfectly timed lines while you're busy blowing stuff adds to the fun. It's great to see virtually every character from the first game making a return, too.

    3. The level of detail on the weapons; the lighting, reflections and scope graphics, animations in the scope, reloading animations etc etc. I also love how the "explodes when reloaded" modifier has several variants - some are thrown and teleport back to you, but rocket launchers for example, take off from your shoulder like a rocket themselves. It's just so damn cool. The projectile speed modifiers are fun too - I've had a pistol that fires slow-moving flares that latch on and explode after a few seconds.

    2. The graphics. It's the same engine, and we all know it has it's foibles, but it looks better than ever with the new graphical effects. The (IMO) fantastic art direction is largely the same, but improved simply by the different locales visited during the game. The first game definitely suffered from an over abundance of desert, so it's great to be visiting just about every type of environment imaginable this time around.

    and finally;

    1. The music. It was awesome before, it's potentially even awesomer now. It's difficult to describe it as it's all so varied, but it's consistently brilliant.

What I like is that it's essentially the same driving mechanic but just polished perfectly; simply adding a handbrake to it seems to have made a massive difference. It's pretty representative of the whole game tbh: take the original and polish the eff out of it.

I fear this game will be really, really long. I just reached Tiny Tina's location... After 13 hours. True, i did every single side mission so far, but somehow i believe the 58 hour estimate from Gearbox.

I know that some people have focused on the Storyline Missions and are pretty much near the end. At this point I have done a bit of everything. Up to a certain point with the Storyline and it has been really fun. And the side missions are really fun too.

Tina is one strange thirteen year old.

    Just completed the Tea Party!

I must be close to finishing the main story in co-op and I would say I've put in 30 hours or so over the weekend (on 360 so can't really check) really enjoying it but have had to force myself to stop tonight as I have work tomorrow.

Tiny Tina is probably my favourite NPC ever.

Tiny Tina sounds like Bart Simpson!

I have done 22 hours on the PC version and have just got to Tiny Tina - I am trying to do all the side quests whenever I unlock a new story quest - don't want to miss anything.

Those Bad Ass Buzzards are a real pain in the rear! I am starting to hate them!

Just wait until you get the Stalkers that turn invisible and teleport around. Trying to get a shot on one with anything but a shotgun is a pain in the backside.

Buzzards (of any sort) don't really bother me just make sure you have a good corrosive weapon and it'll make mincemeat of the Buzzard.

Same really goes for Stalkers but have a shock weapon so that the shields go then they won't cloak and teleport.

My PITA enemies are Badass elemental Thrashers. OMFG!!

Tina is the best NPC, she constantly makes you giggle like a school girl (unless thats just me).

Not sure how many hours in I am, but I've only just gotten the vault key from Jack.

Have to say, while not hard, the Buzzards are damn ****ing annoying to get a clean hit with anything .
Otherwise, its fairly easy to 1 shot most other enemy, except the robots.... I seem to take pleasure in blowing their arms off first, then finishing them. Skags on the other hand, I think I've managed to crit them only a handful of times.

PLaying Zero as a Sniping specialist, but seem to end up right in the middle of things waiting for me shield to pop and me to get incapped... instant nuke of anything remotely close to me :D
