Now retards on twitter wants USA to bomb Czech Republic. You might ask why? Well because Chechnya and Czech Republic sounds so much alike . I guess they will next ask for bombing South Korea. It is Korea after all, no ?
I'm not perfect. Quite a lot of very knowledgeable people agreed with me. It is interesting to see it coming from a semi-domestic source with this sort of background.
oh lovely, Thank f*ck Obama is still in control, last time such event's happened Mr brush declared a war on terror and went for a stomp around the sand pit like a pissed off 3 year old, leaving everybody to tidy up afterwards.
Almost all significant human breakthroughs in the last 100 years have been were born as a result of state funding/infrastructure, the IT/internet revolution being no exception.. Actually the history is well documented and non-controversial. How many state funded institutions can you count?:

I only use Fleming Brand computers, routers, monitors, keyboards, printers, power cables, and network cables on my Fleming ISP service. They cost a lot more but they are worth it. Otherwise, I can't play Fleming's Gate III to the full effect. (sent on my iFleming using Fleming wi-fi)
I admit that given the length of time that passed without any known group taking responsibility, I too thought it was likely domestic.
It was domestic. They were here since 2001-2. They went to school here, one of them just became a citizen. This wasn't external.
That's an interesting point. If the person who commits the terrorism is here longer than anywhere else but their motives are externally-based is it "domestic" terrorism? What if someone from outside the country pays someone born and raised here to commit terrorism, is that domestic?
Pfft. Fanboy. Sent from my fallout shelter using smoke signals and pigeons. Back on topic. I'd say that if they're funded and carry the ideologies of the foreign then it is a foreign threat. I see domestic as totally bred within.
Fair point; I should have elaborated. I used 'domestic' in the sense that many people were pointing to the right-wing NRA-type, as opposed to the stereotypical Islamist that gets plastered all over the news. At this point all we really know is their names and birthplace. Motive is still anyone's guess, and it could very well fall into some gray area in between. Have they been in the US that long? It was funny to hear NPR reporting this morning - in the span of 5 minutes two different people reported 1 year and 5 years.
Yeah, I consider "domestic" someone born and raised in the same state they have an axe to grind upon i.e. Bill Ayers, Ted Kaczynski, Tim Timothy McVeigh or even the IRA in Ireland. Not that it really matters, terrorism is terrorism but I think it is valuable to look at it for what it is if you plan to address it in the future.
Does it really matter where the terrorist/s are from? An act of terrorism is an act of terrorism, and justice can only be bought upon those responsible for the terrorism and not the location they come from.
It depends. Will the powers that be take the time to consider the complicated nature of relationships, and whether or not the person is considered American? Or will they use the event to marginalize a group of people and further a pursuit for natural resources?
The main difference is where you look for all the conspirators involved. Domestically, it's pretty cut and dry who does what. Internationally it gets messy, complicated and expensive real fast.
