well... i've just bought 13 inch laptop screen - HYUNDAI HT13X12-103 pictures here: http://www.szybkaakcja.webpark.pl/matryca.html what can I do with it? what do I need to get it to work? any suggestions? Inverter? some kind of controller?
At this point it was probably a waste of money. In order to run a laptop lcd screen you need to find the data sheets and then find an expensive controler ($200~$250 usd) in order to get it to work. If your hellbent on making it work, check the sticky in the Electronics section ( http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=44604 ) That has all the info you will need if you decide to spend the money.
You can either sell it on as a laptop replacement part, or strip out the CCFL and the reflector sheet to make a nice backlit mod on your case side panel.
a contoller will be expensive, unless you can get it or 5 bucks lol. but other then that its not much use
