Nah all babies are 'its' (Little pink bags of **** - until they can walk) Then I make it my job to make them be as naughty as possbile before giving them back to Mum and Dad. I am the uncle from hell. Congratulations mate. Hope your Mrs is doing well too.
2 weeks later and baby Arlo (all registered and official!) is now off all support, out of the incubator and in a standard "hot cot", has done a couple of successful breast feeds and is actually starting to fit into some clothes. It's hard to see the progress when you're there every day, but we looked at some of the pictures from the first few days last night and it's obvious! Just needs to gain a few more ounces and then he will have all the boxes ticked to come home with the NG tube still in
Every time I see him I find myself grinning like an idiot. Just goes to show the best part of life. Makes me terribly 'Clucky' which I seldom feel.
That's a great photo, SO pleased to see Arlo getting on so well, and that you're able to be a hands on Dad at last The pic reminds me of what my Dad says about when I was allowed home from hospital at 8 weeks - with my head in the palm of his hand, my feet sat in the crook of of his elbow I hope your other half has recovered OK from the surprise arrival; next stop chez Wakka.
Probably should have updated this at one year - but we had a few hurdles to get over in the meantime! When cheese sammich is life: Run down of updates: -Now has 6 teeth. All of which are very sharp. -Crawling and climbing have been mastered. Nothing is safe. -Standing when holding onto stuff is easy, but we're not brave enough to try walking yet. -The answer to every question is "dadadadadadad". -It's almost scary how many variations of Baby Shark you can find... -Favourite hobbies include chucking the remote controls down the back of the sofa/bed, blowing raspberries with mouthfuls of yogurt and waiting until we get in the car to go somewhere before pooping.
Could be worse... landing a load just as you arrive, so the smell hits yer visitees as they open the door.
enjoy your time with him, sadly when mine were that age i was way too consumed with work too enjoy my time with them and now all 3 beat me in any fps deathmatch or racing game :/
Amazing. He doesn't look like Sid James any more Sounds like he's a naughty one in the making. I like the naughty kids lol. Far more fun than good kids
