I've just got a shiny new logitech wireless desktop mx and I'm looking to replace the green LEDs in the charge unit/receiver. Has anyone managed to break into the charge unit/receiver? How did you get in? Stumped
have you tried unscrewing it? hehe I didnt open mine but i dought there is anything else holding it in place other then the screws you find at the bottom
screws are always underneath labels or pads or something. Its that way so that know you voided the warrenty by removing the label. if they didnt have labels over their screws they coulnd know if someone tweak with it or not. So this way if an item is returned as being broken and the label is off then you aint getting your money back cuz they know you opened it
you will never be able to put it back as it was was never taken off. people have tried to put back the labels back but there is always an inperfection from the glue or from when you removed it or whatever besides most lable screw up when you trie to remove them. IF you heat the label off it will drie up the glue and the label will curl up and will become almost imposible to glue back on but who care about the warrenty. We both know that if you want to change the lead you agree to void it because or else you woulnt be doing it!. So you either do it knowing you might scew it up or you dont do it and keep it the way it is. If modders cared so much about keeping the warrenty then you woulnt see alot of cool and outrageous mods hehe good luck
