Welcome to my new project, MiNiMaL_CoST. The idea: I've been after a cheap silent download rig for some time, mostly that i can leave on at Uni with a giant que of torrents and forget about. Therefore my server must be cheap, silent, and discrete (cleaning lady will tell the guv if a computers on 24/7 downloading stuff ) I've been collecting togther parts for just this, mostly from our very own Bit-Tech forums. The system will be based on a passively cooled P3. There will be no monitor/mouse/keyboard as the entire system will be remotely accessible via my own PC (http://www.realvnc.com).
