    What is the best browser for Mac OS X Tiger?

    Firefox, safari? someone tell me!

    safari's a really nice browser, although sometimes bit-tech doesn't always load properly in it.

    safari, camino, or best of all: Shiira

    i like shiira the best, its fast, stable, and supports everything.

    You can get plenty of browsers, but I find Safari is the cleanest, fastest, bestest browser you can use :)

    i dono, shiira is pretty close par, and it can trick sites into thinking its any browser you want too! even IE....

    I tend to use firefox as I can set it up exactly as I do with my pc without and issues :)

    Yeah, for Mac it's crap. For PC it's great, though. What's the deal with Shiira? I've just downloaded it and it seems nice enough, but why should I use this instead of Safari?

    If you use Camino, be sure to get CamiTools. You'll understand why when you've got it, and imo, it makes it far superior to Firefox.

    Safari is pissing me off at the moment. It crashes at least once or twice a day, really annoying. Anyone else have this problem? I tried Shiira but that's based on the same engine and does exactly the same thing :sigh:

    hmm... sounds like you need more ram.... what are you running? safari crashed a lot for me when i was running small amounts of ram.. if anything, use camino

    768Mb? Surely that's enough for a web browser that uses ~60Mb?
