    Hello all,

First time on this forum. I was hoping some of you venerable sages could offer some advice on my plan for a budget pc. This will be my first build so any advice/constructive criticism would be appreciated.
I'm looking to spend around £300 - £375 but am only using a 17" screen so don't need monster graphics etc but would like to be able to play the latest games.

    Here is the proposed PC:
    CPU :Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz Socket 775 800FSB 2MB
GPU: GXFX 9600GT 512M Graphics Card
    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-EP31-DS3L iP31
    Ram: Corsair 4GB Kit (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 XMS2 Memory
CPU Cooler: Arctic Cooling AC-ALP-7P Alpine 7 Pro
Case: Coolermaster Elite 330 Black Case
PSU: CM eXtreme Power 460W PSU
HDD: Seagate ST3250310AS 250GB Hard Drive
    DVD Drive: Sony DRU-190A 20X DVD±RW

This comes in at about £360 from ebuyer - not bad I reckon!

Does anybody think there are any better parts for the price out there or better combinations of parts?

As I say I will mainly be gaming on this but at reasonably low res.

Any advice would be great :)

Did you intend to have both a Radeon 4850 and a GeForce 9600 GT on there?
