    Oh wise Ones, i seek thy knowledge :D

    I'm getting a new pc soon and, as you may or may not have gathered
    its going to be used for games, and i would like to know if it'll be
    any good, so here go's

    450W PSU (maybe 550?)
    Black & Silver ATX Tower Case
    2GB DDR2 PC-5400 667 MHZ (2 x 1 GB 667)
    ECS K8M890M0M-M S/V/L M-ATX 2000MT/s
    AMD ATHLON 64 X2 5200+ 2MB SKT-AM2
    ASUS 256MB RADEON X1950PRO CF PCI-E RET
    And XP, i wont be running things like Crysis, just maybe Bioshock, Elder Scrolls oblivion,
    The orange box (half-life 2 on a console? doesnt work :nono:)
    and CnC3

    Are you set on the AMD route, because if not my first and main recommendation is to go C2D. Even before overclocking, which with C2D is exceedingly easy, you will get a faster cpu for the same price. Secondly, don't skimp on your psu. They are much more important than people give credit for.
