Yep, you could simply sell the case & PSU, add a Titan cooler, Antec 902, GTX470 and an SSD and get your exact build.

I wouldn't trust the PSU that comes with the XClio case, get a good one. As far as the case is concerned, gawd its' fugly (only my opinion). You could always sell both the case and PSU, it is what I would do.

I can't comment on the ScanFX GPU, I don't know anything about them. It might be an idea to change it to a "known" brand if in doubt.

    1. I don't know the Thermalright, try here for a comparison http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm. If it was my money I would buy a Titan.

Corsair is good RAM, lifetime warranty although I think OCZ has as well. If Aria are going to guarantee the overclock, it might be better to go with their recommended RAM.

Scan's Today Only runs, like the name suggests, every day. They post a different set of deals every day around 2pm. The deals change every day.

Usually you only save a few pounds per item but if you are buying a few things, it adds up.

Another 9 posts on this forum and you qualify for free delivery from Scan as well...http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=186923.

I would still prefer to buy from Scan as they do have an excellent reputation as system builders and as etailers in general among the PC enthusiast community.

Yes, it is! Odd that they didnt pick a CPU fan as well... very odd.

I added on the missing components (CPU Fan 120mm Akasa Apache Ultra Silent Fan HDB Bearing PWM fan w/4 pin connector & Rubber Pins) and Intel SSD and its basically the same price as Aria.

Which is a pain since I wanted to buy in a couple of weeks once I move house, but I'm tempted to buy now (given comments about Scan being a good e-tailer and system builder and the price matching with Aria).

Edit: Hmmm, I'm guessing since its a DIY bit its not pre-assembled. I dont want to build it (if there are hardware issues it'll become really painful really fast, and I'm risk averse)... Hmmm.

Personally I get more enjoyment out of building stuff than using it...but hey, each to his own.

It is worth keeping an eye on Scan's Today Only page, these deals come around. I am sure that, after you move house, you will be able to see a good deal on it.

Is that the HX series from Corsair ? Im guessing not ?

I am currently building my PC, and enjoying the challenge as its my fist time build. Its been a good experience so far. I wish I had built my own PC ages ago :grr:
