Step 1) Get normal DDR3 memory stick that you usually charge £30 for
Step 2) Attach plastic costing 10p
Step 3) Add a cool name that young men think is awesome
Step 4) Increase price of memory by £10
    Step 5) Make moneyz

I had a similar problem in my build. At first, I ordered some low profile Corsair XM3 because of the clearance issue with the Noctua NH-D14 HSF. Scan were out of stock for the memory though so I got impatient and ordered the Corsair Vengeance memory instead. Since it was a 16GB kit, I had to use all 4 lanes. Cue lots of swearing as the memory wouldn't fit - and it wasn't the fan, it was the metal fins of the heatsink.

This isn't exactly my setup, but you can see the problem with the Noctua and high RAM heatsinks. If the first RAM channel was being used in the picture, you can see it clearly wouldn't fit.

Ended up Dremeling the bottom 2 rows of metal fins on the Noctua. The memory now fits with literally 1mm clearance.

Couldn't agree more with this, just a money making gimmick. The XMS3 stuff is exactly the same and sells a lot cheaper. This is the reason I always advise people with large CPU coolers to go for the XMS3 not the Vengeance or Dominator kits. Good luck with your returning/modding of the RAM/Cooler though :)

Is there no way to reverse the fan and stick it on the other side

If you're talking about the Noctua: Yes, you can. But the case exhaust fan get's in the way.
If you're talking about the Be Quiet: No afaik. OP can you confirm?

I think it's doable, since the base is symetrical.

BUT I believe (at least for my case) will not be ideal, since the CPU fan will be blowing air exactly opposite from the case fan (FT02) which I guess will mess up the air flow.

Ended up removing the heatspread from the ram a few mins ago.
If it melts I'll let you know :p

RAM with huge coolers have problems with nearly all coolers, not just beasts like Noctua NH-D14. For example Dominator GT collided with fan on Mega Shadow in slot closest to the socket. Go figure...

The issue is not with the coolers, it's the RAMs. Especially when you consider the facts that :
    1) higher RAM speed brings you pretty much nothing.
    2) most RAM modules don't need any cooling, the coolers are there just for visuals.

Talking about brandnames and value for Money...

I also got Silverstone FT02 and Corsair AX850.

Good design for the case, PSU (efficient, silent etc) looks good too and I'm happy in general.
BUT "Made in China" and lot's of cheap plastic for a case that cost 200 euro....
Same for Corsair, those modular cables don't even clip good.

    1) good luck finding anything not "Made in China". Did you know that for example Porsche Cayenne says "Made in Germany", yet 60% of the car is in reality "Made in Slovakia". But non-german Porsche is something unimaginable. Same applies to your not-"Made in China" stuff. Even if it will say something else, there is a very high chance that at least half of it was made in China anyway.
    2) modular cables on Corsair AX are much better than any other brand of modular cables i used till now (Enermax Modu 82, Corsair HX520/620, Seasonic X-650/750, Antec TruePower New).
    3) If you want a case without cheap plastic, you don't look at any other brand than Lian Li. But case at size and features of FT02 will cost more than 200 euros...
